Technology and Innovation

  • Experts in Development and Innovation

We believe in approaching problems from new directions. Rather than thinking outside the box, we just reinvent the box.

  • A History With Chemistry

M&M Designs has a background in chemical production, which led to us taking part in the earliest applications of screen printing on ceramics, glass wear, apparel, and decals.

  • Solution-Oriented

We relish the challenges our clients bring us, whatever they may be. Whether you're having trouble getting standard inks to adhere to your fabrics, or you want to achieve a specific look, we can help!

  • Blazing Trails

We pioneered the used of plastisol inks, alongside the use of the heat-transfer for garment decoration in the 1970s and 80s.

  • An Eye for New Technologies

We have adapted industrial table lasers for use in creating custom twill appliqués for use in garment decoration. Appliqués are printed, laser-cut, and shipped to you to apply. The effect adds dimension to your product, while enhancing your bottom line.

  • Environmentally Conscious

Since the turn of the century, M&M Designs has been actively developing "green", phthalate-free ink systems. Our newest water-based heat transfer technology delivers unparalleled detail, while retaining outstanding durability characteristics and an exceptionally soft hand.

We design solutions

In today's competitive apparel industry, cutting edge synthetic fabrics are the norm. M&M Designs offers years of experience decorating synthetic fabrics, natural fabrics, and blends. We even have low-temperature options that will apply to heat-sensitive fabrics.

Our printed and laser-cut twill appliqués are second to none in terms of quality and price, and we offer pressure-sensitive backing, heat-activated backing, or no backing. These options make application a snap.

Our newest technologies are the most impressive yet - we are now offering our water-based ultra high-resolution heat transfers to the public. These transfers are versatile in the application options, and offer a supple and durable finished product. You must see it for yourself!

Our History

  • Incorporated in 1974

M&M Designs was born from strong ethics, a desire to excel, and a willingness to tackle any challenge. These core principles guide us today.

  • Pioneers in apparel decoration

The 70s saw the rise of a new form of apparel - printed t-shirts. M&M Designs was a part of that. We drew on our experience with chemicals, leveraged our ingenuity, and became an industry leader.

  • Innovation and Growth

Throughout the 80s and 90s, M&M Designs focused on excellence and innovation. During this time, we developed a process of printing and laser cutting twill to be applied to clothing as a cost-effective alternative to stacked tackle twill. We also developed a method of producing roll-to-roll transfers to be used as tagless labels for shirts and undergarments. We were one of the first companies to offer this service.

  • New Technologies

During the early 2000s, we developed Endure, our first "green" ink. It's phthalate-free, it applies to nearly any substrate, it's extremely durable, and the colors really pop. Best of all, it makes application quick and simple, which decreases production time.

  • Forging New Opportunities

In recent years, we've begun expanding our borders by creating new partnerships. This has resulted in the creation of new brands - EBR Racewear and Sterling Myers. It's also allowed us to begin offering high resolution direct-to-garment printing, and embroidery services.
